You may use the State of New Jersey Real Estate Commission, Department of Banking and Insurance’s online Real Estate Licensee Search to look for individuals and businesses that have been granted real estate licenses in the Garden State. All current and inactive licensees are searchable by name, license reference number, licensing category, or license status (active, inactive, revoked, suspended, relinquished) (active, inactive, revoked, suspended, surrendered). Provide the name or partial name of a firm or person, and click the “SEARCH” button to search. (you may also enter a license reference number, license type or licensing status, or any combination of these elements to focus your search further.) When a list of licenses that meet your search criteria is shown, you may get further details by clicking on the “STATUS” column. For corporations, clicking on the “NAME” column of the licensee will give a list of current licensees working for that firm.
